How to Attract the Clients You Want

Rich, Happy & Hot founder Marie Forleo talks about ways that successful small businesses attract the types of clients who are willing to pay their prices. In this interview with Diana Ransom, she explains that leading companies become known as the best at what they do. Here are three ways they do it:

  • They make sure their website is first-class. Make sure yours is clean and professional-looking.
  • They clearly show customers how they can save money or time. Translate how your offerings can benefit them.
  • They offer testimonials from existing clients. Use social media to promote recommendations.

Keep in mind that clients looking for the lowest prices often don’t make the best customers, Forleo says. They are more likely than others to hop to a competitor if they find out they can pay less for a similar product or service elsewhere.
